Due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) all patient information, including presence in treatment, is protected. Please be advised that each client has the right to limit any person from obtaining information regarding their care. Wayside House cannot confirm nor deny the presence of any client in any level of treatment without expressed, written permission from the client. This consent can be initiated, changed or revoked at any time during a client’s treatment. Wayside House will make every effort to include appropriate family members in a client’s care. However, each client has the authority to limit or stop Wayside House from communicating with another party regarding their treatment.  Please be aware that a completed consent to release information does not automatically guarantee the release or obtainment of information.

Mail: Clients may receive mail at any time. Mail will be checked and given to clients at the discretion of the clinical staff.
