The Partial Hospitalization (Day/Night Treatment) Program is a primary substance abuse rehabilitation program that also treats secondary co-occurring mental health disorders, and is supportive of MAT. The program is geared towards providing a structured schedule of non-residential services for clients that meet ASAM criteria for PHP (Day/Night) level of care for substance use treatment. The program is a 30-hour therapeutic program held Monday-Friday 9 AM – 4:30 PM that includes groups, individual therapy and family therapy. Clients have the choice of Agency Psychiatric assessment and ongoing follow-up as a part of the program, may opt for private psychiatric referral, or may choose to maintain an established psychiatric relationship. Clients are referred to and encouraged to reside in a FARR-certified recovery residence throughout their PHP participation. They are also encouraged to attend daily 12-step meetings or other community-based peer support, and work with a sponsor or mentor to support their recovery. For qualifying women needing intensive addiction treatment, but who are not seeking residential services, Wayside House has a Day/Night Program. Wayside House’s Day/Night Program is a rehabilitation program that is geared towards providing a structured schedule of non-residential services for clients that meet American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria for Day/Night level of care substance use treatment. The overarching theme of the program centers on assisting individuals in attaining and maintaining the skills and behaviors needed to function successfully in the living, learning, and social environments of their community. The program utilizes multidisciplinary teams to offer integrated therapeutic programs with an emphasis on rehabilitation, treatment, and education services that fully address the client’s substance use and co-occurring disorders.
