INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT SERVICES – Partial Hospitalization Program

For qualifying women needing intensive addiction treatment, but who are not seeking residential services, Wayside House has a partial hospitalization program (PHP).

Wayside House’s PHP is a dual-diagnosis rehabilitation program that is geared towards providing a structured schedule of non-residential services for clients that meet American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria for PHP level of care substance use treatment.

The program is a 23-24-hour therapeutic program held Monday 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Clients in this level of care will attend 4-5 hours of group therapy per day and meet with their assigned primary therapist for one weekly individual therapy session. Pregnant and postpartum women are also welcome.

The overarching theme of the program centers on assisting individuals in attaining and maintaining the skills and behaviors needed to function successfully in the living, learning, and social environments of their community. The program utilizes multidisciplinary teams to offer integrated therapeutic programs with an emphasis on rehabilitation, treatment, and education services that fully address the client’s substance use and co-occurring disorders.
