SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for providing non-clinical supervision to women in substance abuse treatment, acting as a role model for positive behavior and communication by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Oversees the whereabouts of clients: Documents and communicates all client-related matters promptly and accurately. Demonstrates knowledge of agency policies & procedures in the event of an accident, client disappearance, medical emergency, etc. Contacts on-call staff when appropriate and follow any dictated directions. Follows all policies & procedures and represent Wayside House positively in all external interactions. Follows all policies & procedures and represent Wayside House positively in all external interactions. Monitors clients on restriction. Monitors clients’ completion of chores: Hands on help with direction of chores, as appropriate; Monitor and assist clients during meal preparation Maintains strict client confidentiality in accordance with Title 42, CFR, Part 2, and HIPAA: Maintains strict client confidentiality when speaking on the telephone, communicating electronically (email, text, social media, etc.), outside of Wayside House, in the presence of others Maintains strict client confidentiality when communicating with another client, or staff that are disassociated with the client. Conducts and documents breathalyzer and urine drug screens in accordance with agency policy & procedure. Oversees client self-administration of medications: Completes appropriate and accurate documentation of medication process. Treats clients with respect and dignity at all times. Works with Nurse to maintain accuracy of medication books and monthly medication sheets.
