Outpatient
The Wayside House Outpatient Program is designed to help clients seeking individual, couples, group or family therapy. Each applicant meets with a therapist to assess her unique needs. A treatment plan is individualized to concentrate on each woman’s personal strengths and weaknesses. Goals include relapse prevention, improved family and interpersonal communication skills, increased problem solving, coping skills, self-esteem and, if necessary, coping with co-occurring disorders.
The length of treatment in this program is determined by the individual, couple or family needs. As with all Wayside House programs, the outpatient program is based upon the foundation of complete abstinence from mood-altering substances and upon the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous. The individualized treatment plan is reviewed every 30 days to monitor progress toward achieving their goals.
