Angel Fund
Your gift to the Angel Fund at Wayside House will help save the lives of the women who walk through our doors in search of hope, renewal and freedom from addiction. An annual fund-raising initiative, the Angel Fund addresses some of Wayside House’s greatest needs.
Most of our clients are homeless and impoverished, some on the verge of death, when they begin treatment. Many have families who have experienced, second-hand, the disruptive effects of addiction. While at Wayside House, each client embarks on a personal journey by following an individualized therapeutic plan that fosters sobriety through self awareness and introspection. Seldom easy, often painful, the journey can be transformative when the client emerges complete again, on the road to reunification with family members and ready to experience life fully without dependency on mood-altering substances.
More than half of Wayside House’s funding dollars come from private donations. The gifts directed to the Angel Fund provide our residents, outpatients and their families with the services they require. By becoming a Wayside House “Angel,” you will help turn the women of Wayside House into beautiful butterflies.
